» What is Open PHACTS ?
To reduce the barriers to drug discovery in industry, academia and for small businesses, the Open PHACTS consortium is building the Open PHACTS Discovery Platform. This will be freely available, integrating pharmacological data from a variety of information resources and providing tools and services to question this integrated data to support pharmacological research.
… Who is participating in the Open PHACTS consortium ?
This 3-year knowledge management project of the Innovative Medicines Initiative (IMI) is a unique partnership between the European Community and the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA). The Open PHACTS consortium comprises of 28 partners from a wide range of backgrounds (Academia, Pharma and Biotech companies) combining expertise in pharmacology, nanopublications, semantic technology, text mining, as well as bio- and cheminformatics.
