2nd International Workshop on Open Data – 13 mai 2013 – Paris, France

« The WOD series of workshops aims at fostering research on existing technology barriers that currently impede progress to create value from Open Data. WOD 2013 aims to be a premier venue to gather computer science researchers and practitioners who are contributing to and interested in the emerging movement of Open Data. Hence, it is a unique opportunity to find in a single place up-to-date scientific works on Web-scale Open Data issues that have so far only partially been addressed by different research communities such as Data Management, Data Mining and Knowledge Management, Distributed Systems, Data Privacy, and Data Visualization.

WOD’13 is focused along the following key themes:

Big Data Management in the Cloud

Large Scale Data Integration

Semantic Data Extraction and Enrichment

Exploratory Searching and Browsing

Entity Resolution and Data Linking

Data Curation and Long-term Usability

Data Evolution and Provenance

Data Publishing and Privacy

Data Visualization and Analytics

Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers that are not being considered for publication in any other forum. Every submission that jointly covers one or several of the above topics is warmly encouraged. Submissions should not exceed six pages in the 2013 format. The content of submissions is expected to meet the standards of international conferences and workshops. Vision and position papers are specifically welcome.
